How bad do you think St. Anger was?

I said this before in another thread, I like St. Anger. Don't love it and don't hate it. I like it. That's all. Peace.

It has some good songs on it. If the production was better (good by garage production and Lar's snare, hello good studio sound), the guitars weren't tuned so low and had solos, it would be a good album.

And you cannot say you liked St. Anger more than Ride The Lightning........it's not possible. In some societies they cut out your tongue for commiting such blasphemy. Although I would never do something like that.

So bad, it is the only one I wont own by them or ever care to hear again.

"Frantic" is the only track that I really like from that album.

True, but I never said I thought it was awful. I just wanted to see how bad other people thought it was.

It sucks balls!!!!

i heard one lead bit on the whole album. not a solo just a lick.

The drum sound made poop look good. The rest of the album just wasn't very good.

st. anger remains one of my favourite heavy metal records. i acually like that it sounds sloppy and poorly recorded
