How did you hear about Criss' death? Heard about it on WSOU-FM (New Jersey's hard rock station)

Is Jon insane? Probably, but that's what makes him so endearing

Have you ever met any members of the band? I met Chris Caffery in 1991 or '92 in between his Savatage stints, when he was playing with a short lived band called "WitchDoctor" -- very cool guy. Like a dumb a$$ I didn't think to bring anything along for him to autograph. Sad

Do you like TSO? I like the Christmas albums a lot; wasn't so crazy about "Beethoven's Last Night" though

i never saw them live but i met once jon oliva in a record shop in greece(i still remember that they had to push him to pass the tiny entrance of that store. he signed a lot of blue vinyls of sirens that day and one yellow avatar. one of those blues was recently in ebay, it wasn't mine. i didn't have it with me. jimmy "dog", the owner of the store is a savamaniac and oliva was the best man in his wedding)

i don't like jop, tso, avatar etc....

Hmm I dont think I have a favorite member. If I had to choose though I guess it would be Dr. Killdrums only cause he had that nickname and his drum set had skulls on it. Otherwise they were all good in their own way.

Unfortunetly no. They played so close to me too I think in '97 an all acoustic set.

I think I read it online somewhere. I didnt know he even died at the time I got into the band. I thought he just left.

Jon or Zach?
I dont know. They were both so good on the albums they were on. Maybe Zach cause his voice is a little more easier to get used to then Jon.

Is Jon insane?
Hmmm....I dont know. Maybe for letting himself get very overweight. He seems like a cool guy though, I just wish he would get himself in shape. Im not one to talk cause I know what it feels like, but if I was his size I would really think of doing something.

No. Some of my band members and friends have met Caffery since he lives our their area in NY. He records where we recorded our album.

- None, stopped listening to them after Criss passed. Without Jon or Criss it just wasn't Savatage to me...it became "The Paul O'Neill Project".

- Jon...not even close.

Is Jon insane?
- Don't know him personally (met him after the Gutter Ballet gig though, he seemed like a really down to earth nice guy), although I've heard through others he's had a long battle with substance abuse issues.

Jon & Criss after the aformentioned Gutter Ballet show, sat down at a table and had a beer with them afterwards.
