| So far my fave release of 2008 is still Bad Biscut's WE STILL BELIEVE THE HYPE. Either it's been a slow year or the economy has bitten into my CD buying budget worse than I realized! But seriously, I also like the new Dokken and Testament discs a lot, though I was underwhelmed by Priest's NOSTRADAMUS and the new Iced Earth thus far has just been "meh" for me. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I really like the Metal Church, hope somebody buys it. Kudos to Tesla for another solid album and the new Iced Earth is a grower so far. |

Fascinating....check out how "old school" this list is! Old school is the only school I attend. I can't wait until it's time to do a "best of 2008" write up on my blog (I'll probably restrict it to Top 10), but here's what have been highlights for me so far... Journey - Revelations SteelHeart - Good 2B Alive Buckcherry - Black Butterfly AC/DC - Black Ice Tesla - Forever More Metallica - Death Magnetic Motley Crue - Saints of Los Angeles Judas Priest - Nostradamus Avantasia - The Scarecrow Extreme - Saudades de Rock Black Tide - Into the Light Stone Gods - Silver Spoons & Broken Bones Whitesnake - Good To Be Bad I've picked up other new releases, and none of them are bad, but they just aren't anything special. As for the rest of the year, I'll be picking up Edguy, Hagar, GNR and Queen. I think those are the only big releases left that hold my interest. I suspect GNR & Edguy will be making my Top 10 at the year's end.

Still, That's an awesome album! And if you're looking for some more, "Paradise In Flames" and "Time Machine" are perfect places to start digging. I actually like the latest albums by this band MUCH better than their earlier releases (In the late 80's/early 90's they played more or less Hard Rock or Melodic Heavy Metal).
