Thanks to everyone for the kind words - we had the funeral last Friday. Now I'm back home and trying to catch up with stuff at work and around the house.

My older bropther brought me to this site. You know him as the joker. He got me into Rock N Roll. I am five years younger than him so I lean more towards the melodic rock but we did have kick ass time in jersey seeing Iron Maiden. Yes I know they are melodic but I am a Def Leppard freak! Thank you for all your replies to our father. He was a good man.

I usually don't go into this section of the site, so this is the first I've seen of this thread. I'm very sorry for your loss. My Father is my hero in life, so I don't know what I would do without him. Unfortunately one day, I will have to experience that loss. Your Father sounded like a great man.

Joker, I knew your dad.

My name is Shane, I was dating Maeve for the two years prior to her death. I was feeling rather nostalgic tonight and was doing a search, looking for Marlos to see how she was doing, as I hadn't heard from her since about a month after Maeve died.

I did not know she had any siblings, half or otherwise.

I can't say that I knew your dad very well. The most I ever saw him was random sporadic visitations with Maeve while she was ill. That having been said, I am shocked to hear about this...and I am sorry for your loss. From what I did know of him he was a good guy, and he cared for his kids quite a great deal. He had my respect, and my heart goes out to you as well.

The world is smaller than it seems. We are all connected more than you might think.
