It's great, if you can get past the cut-and-paste crowd noise. It's gets a bit annoying after a while because it's so unnatural, just a constant cheering/clapping for no apparent reason. When the singer makes a joke, nothing changes but the volume of the crowd. You can tell, however, that someone just turned it up. But hey, it's 20 tracks deep and I only own two other Quireboys discs, so I'm okay with it.

Get their Recorded Around the World (1990). Great live disc at their peak. The one you've got is from a reunion concert from 1995.

I'm not sure what's on the dvd (I don't have it here in front of me at the moment). I'm pretty sure it's a live show, but other than that, I don't know the details. Chances are, I won't even get around to watching it. I got it for the music. I never owned any Vio-Lence on cd or tape, so when I saw this one, I snapped it up.

its a good album but the vocals are an acquired taste. the live show is totally sick. however it was released seperately on dvd so i dont know if they are throwing it in now
