I gave up a long time ago, I don't really care
anymore, after 3 shifts in the last 2 years alone I can't keep up with
the boxes I have to unpack, I've spent 3 days still trying to find
"coverdale/Page" cassette so I can listen to it and record on to my
computer. I found Gary Moore- After the war instead and put it onto
computer and am enjoying it immensly! What I'm trying to say is I am
lucky to get 2 hours aday of listening time if not 1 hr, whether it's
on the computer or on stereo or in car, I'm happy! after 2 years
without speakers 4 my stereo(no Turntable) I now have a complete
stereo. I played " 1987- Whitsnake" LOUD! LP that is, blew me away, and
guess What, my ears didn't hurt (weird sensation) scratches an'all.
Moral
of story is that at my age is music is what matters in what ever form
it takes, in fact I think cassettes and Records do it for me more in
listening plessure than digital but then u can't beat the convenience
of digital hence recording onto computer.

I still buy vinyl. I have sold off a good portion of the cassettes I use to own. I still have about 40 or so left, mostly old demos and stuff that were never pressed to CD or vinyl, or stuff I simply haven't upgraded yet.

I have like 500-600 cassettes packed away. A number of years ago Metal Blade was selling cassettes for .99 and I bought a ton of them!

I've just got into catching up on all the old bands I missed because I was too young at the time. I'm finding though that the more CD's I buy, the more it takes for me to be impressed with a album. I have a huge stockpile that is waiting to be listened to.

I really enjoy cassettes, but I couldn't take the fact that one day, that cassette would go to crap and become unlistenable. At least with my CDs, they should have a longer shelf life.
