Chastain fans?????????

Any Chastain fans here? I love Chastain but I prefer the Kate French era Chastain the best! She is absolutely one of the best female metal vocalists around today. Her Vainglory material slays as does her Chastain stuff.

I use to really dig CJSS and a few of the Chastain albums, but I
currently have nothing by him. Might have to look for some of his stuff
again.

i was going to mention.. i prefer Leather on vox, but hey it's all good.

I just recently rediscovered Chaistain, and some tunes from Rulers of the Wastelands. They went right into the wantlist.

Ok I've listened to the Leather Leone and Kate French versions of Chastain and to me Kate Frech has more vocal strenght than Leather Leone.
Kate has more of a rawer vocal prowes than Leather does.

But then again Kate kills o Vainglory!

Yes, i am a big DAVID T. CHASTAIN fan. My fave project/band of him will be always CHASTAIN, with or without LEATHER LEONE (also her solo album SHOCK WAVES from 1990 is increible) because i realy love KATE FRENCH too. Those woman sing like a metal female should sing.
I realy like all CHASTAIN album even if SICK SOCIETY was not very good. IN AN OUTRAGE was realy great, with some increible good songs and of course their old albums are strong.
The second project/band of DAVID that i like is CJSS.
WORLD GONE MAD, PRAISE THE LOUD and the fantastic KINGS OF THE WORLD are very good. US METAL the way i love it.
Third project i like is his solo stuff under his own name DAVID T.CHASTAIN. He made two strong albums in the 80s and from his later albums i would say ROCK SOLID GUITAR.
CHASTAIN, CJSS and DAVID T.CHASTAIN forever and it would be nice if he would release a dvd with old and new stuff on it.

I'm fairly new to the Chastain stuff...I'd been hearing/reading about the man's various projects for years now but didn't start to explore his catalog till the past year or two. Of the "Chastain" band stuff I especially like the VOICE OF THE CULT and IN AN OUTRAGE discs with Leather on vox, though Kate French is quite the screamer as well. (I have heard a couple of the VainGlory tracks and can't wait to hear the rest of the CD!!)

I also love the PRAISE THE LOUD and WORLD GONE MAD discs by CJSS.

i like it. Chastain is underrated professional.

I picked up a copy of For Those Who Dare on cassette for a dollar in the cut out bin back in 1993. That was a killer album, and I wore the tape out on that thing.
