Give it a rest Dave. I don't think it is Dave's idea, it is these record company weasels trying to squeeze another nickle from a band who left their label years ago.

yeah I know the feeling.I've been buying more lately and not listening enough I'm not in that same boat-mainly because my budget doesn't allow me to buy a whole lot at a time. My situation is I need as much of my paychecks as possible to get my credit card debt paid off by the end of the year. This wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't as liberal with my budget as I have been. I really have to go on a spending freeze for the next month and keep my CD buying to a bare minimum-or at least until I get my Christmas money in December

Yup. That and Battlelore. Though I'll be buying them Friday. I'm wondering what the Helloween release is. If it's different from the original 2CD version that was released I'm going to call someone a bad name. Interested in that Kiske album, too. Not a big fan of his other solo albums, but this one sounds interesting. |

Interested in that Kiske album, too. Not a big fan of his other solo albums, but this one sounds interesting. The Kiske cd is good. But if you didnt like his other solo albums you probably wont like it even though hes covering helloween songs. Theres absolutely no electric guitars at all. I think its good but some people think its boring. Basically the songs sound the same just acoustic. The Helloween cd is a little different from the original. it has 2 extra songs and a couple of videos. Not really a must buy if your not a huge fan like me or exact who own a couple of different versions of that alblum already lol _________________

Well, my issues with his other solo albums have simply been that I felt the songs were boring, not memorable. Redoing Helloween songs is different, as I think most of the songs on the album are good Helloween songs. I don't mind the light rock and acoustic style of his older albums; I just didn't think the songs were all that good. - Quote :

What songs? The initial 2CD version had two bonus cuts—"Find My Freedom" and "See The Night," I think (I'm at work, just guessing). |

The cd that i got from them The Shadow Line was a try for mainstream if you ask me. The whole industrial thing is gone and its for the better imo.

What songs? The initial 2CD version had two bonus cuts—"Find My Freedom" and "See The Night," I think (I'm at work, just guessing). Want me to send you a song or 2 from the kiske cd? The songs on the Helloween are Never Surrender, Revolution, Run and videos for Mrs. God, Light The Universe, As Long As I Fall, Paint A New World. Funny thing that I just noticed the 2 songs from the original 2 cd version arent even on this cd lol. This was a stupid reissue lol because Revolution and Run where b sides from Keeper III the only one that wasnt released was Never Surrender and its a really good song. If you want them though let me know I can send you them too. _________________
