NO! and NO! They were a black metal band. They have progressed far from that point now. I say they are progressive metal. Now take that however you will. You can listen to them on Myspace. That album is awesome, IMO.

Not that I know of. They're more like modern radio rock, as far as I know.

OK, I listened to the MySpace songs and I definitely think they're more Buckcherry than Nickelback. I get what people are saying though about "trying too hard". I still will pick this up if I can find it for cheap.
