No clue but no matter what she's doing now, it's rock's loss. I loved her vibe, her vocals and her style in Smashed Gladys.

But come on i mean your judgement of a band hasn't at least been influenced by outside factors other than the music?

I was just saying the image and their influences said one thing and the music said another. I was recounting my personal relationship with this band.

Killer, very underrated band, in my opinion. I had Feel The Shake playing today, in fact. LOVE that disc! The title track, Bloodstone, and especially Snakebite are all just excellent examples of everything this band did well! I really never understood why they didn't break it big. Damned Nation is another great disc if you can find it.

Do you know there's another Smashed Gladys album?

I have it. I am pretty sure it is a bootleg, as I don't think it was ever released as a CD, but I have it. PRetty good, but not as good as Social Intercourse, at least in my opinion.

I thought the first Jetboy album was ok, nothing spectacular. But Damned Nation was a really really good record.

It all depends. There are extremes, of course. I can't say that I'd be into Lynch Mob if they were all KKK members. But in general, I can separate most things from the music. If Dave Mustaine is truly a jerkoff in real life, it won't affect the way I hear his music. If he's a dickhead to me in real life, then that's different.

Take Cellador, for example. The singer looks like a white rapper. Should I be turned off of the band based on that? Some people are. I don't care. The music matters. Apparently the ex-guitarist was a drunken turd. Who cares?

I remember seeing Jetboy in El Lay quite a few times and remember enjoying the shows well enough. Something about being one of the sardines in the can that was pretty much a proper description of most clubs in that scene. A record deal has ruined more than enough bands and it is really really sad.
