I used to love Bolt Thrower-The IV Crusade which I had on tape back in the day. I plan on getting it on CD one of these days (if I can ever find it used). I liked Bolt Thrower because they were not IMO, typical for death metal at that time. The songs were fairly easy to tell apart and they weren't a Cannibal Corpse clone.

Bolt Thrower is one of my favorite DM bands. i loved their 4th album "The IVth Crusade" so much. especially the title song "The IVth Crusade" is killer.

I like realy everything this guys released, from their early IN BATTLE THEIR IS NO LAW crust/death days till THOSE ONCE LOYAL. BOLT THROWER have been loyal to us, and we are loyal to them. HAIL FOREVER!!!!!

Bolt thrower is so awesome, definately not your typical death metal band. I think my favorate album would have to be Mercenary. The drumming on that album is very unique, simple yet complex/interesting at the same time. Realm of chaos is pretty sick also. lyric writing in this bands music is some of the best IMO.

Warmaster is the only one missing from my collection. Kind of weird why I still don't have it. I usually have to be in the mood to enjoy them, but enjoy I do.

I have been a fan since I 1st heard them in the early 90's. Realm of Chaos, The IVth Crusade, Warmaster, and In Battle There is No Law are all great classics from this band. Glad Karl Willets came back. Their new album has a few duds, but the majority of their new album is pretty good.

As you can see they are one of the few bands thats commands respect from metalheads across the spectrum..and rightly so.

Have all their albums and will buy anything they put out blindly. I cant think of many other bands I'd do that for.
