| Whoa! That's a name I haven't heard in a long time... my brother was a HUGE fan of this band back when we were in high school. He was even pen pals with one of the band members for a while. They sort of straddled the line between being a joke band and a serious thrash/core band, but I thought they had their moments, if you have a sick sense of humor anyway... | |

| I like 'em! Very punky thrash. In a way, they are an American answer to (early) Tankard. _________________ You're cancer, you can't be the answer, you're killing me

| I have Biermacht (spelling???) and one or two others on CD. I rarely listen to them, however.

| I had their first album back in the day. I thought they pretty much sucked, even though they played fast, no talent whatsoever. Fortunately bands that start sloppy and bad usually get better and stay hard. Bands that start out with loads of talent usually get very watered down and kinda soft (see Testament Practice What You Preach). | |

 You have to be kidding. Practice What You Preach is freakin' awesome! "Sins of Ommission" is one of my favorite Testament songs, if not my all time favorite. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| in retrospect PWYP is a great album but in the metal circles back in 1989, it was way under par to what Testament did on their first 2 albums. it took about a year for it to grow on me and many other thrash heads at the time. | |

what I meant by this was back in 1985 or 1986, everyone and their brother was putting out metal abnds everywhere, some were getting signed just cuz they played hard and fast, and we all know that doesnt necessarily mean good. we would buy albums and they were heavy and fast but no talent. well these bands had nowhere to go but up, they heard opinions from everyone with a mouth that if they just had better musicianship they would rule. so we kept an eye on these bands over the years and they slowly got better with each album, while sticking to their thrash roots and soon they were great. bands that start out with tons of talent usually hear it from everyone with a mouth how great they are. well most of the time those bands have big egos in the band and everyone in the band wants the music done their way and what you get is the result by the 3rd or 4th album they dont know what direction they are going in and soon members of these bands leave. that happened to alot of bands in the late 80's/early 90's. but most of these bands turned things around and found their niche as to what music they were put on this earth to play. | |
