| A few months ago I was at my local st. Vincent de pauls and was scoping out their selection of discs and I came across this hard rock album by a band named Drive, the album was called Characters in time. I gave the disc a spin and came to the conclusion that I might have just found a real gem. The band is your standard 80's hard rock group that touches on some minor progression. The music was brilliant, instantly a favorate. The vox are covered by a dude named David Taylor which made me instantly think of the vocalist of Jacobs Dream of the same name. The only info I could find was on ult's NLTM that had another album that came out in 92, mines from 88 I think. So, does anybody know about these boys, is it the same vocalist from Jacobs Dream, and are there any other Drive albums? | |

| Glad this was not about the solo career for the former Barren Cross singer. Other than that, I can't help you out. _________________ | |

| Here you go: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=1573 Doesn't seem to be the same singer, but I could be wrong. Eric Singer played on their second album! _________________ | |

| I have that DRIVE album on vinyl and love it. It remind me very much of bands like HEIR APPARENT, RACER X, FIFTH ANGEL, CULPRIT etc.... | |

| I have both of their albums on Cd and are both great. Characters in time is a little more straight ahead metal, whilst the follow up is more hard rock influenced.
Nice score as its quite hard to come by now! |
