| Priest was first to do this for me. Next was Savatage. And then Dio. And then Fates Warning and Dream Theater as I got more into Progressive metal. | |

King's X for me. Not one note, not one concert moment, not one ounce of energy - wasted. I can have their volume on 1 or 11, and that vibe takes me over. The concerts are spiritual - the fanbase, extended family. Kind of a Grateful Dead for MY sect of peoples. I know Pelata knows exactly what I am talking about.
Who touches you that deeply? (no "Uncle" jokes please. ha) couldn't agree more... 20 years ago it didn't matter as much.... Now when I hear their stuff it's all about what it means to be Human and dealing with this path known as life. Sometimes it's good sometimes it sucks... I can so relate their joys and dispair to my own....

| 'Tage for me as well. It's weird so many metalheads love them, and so many people have no clue about them. Criss' music touches me like no other. |

| The rock n' roll guys, the balladeers, the gutter poets, the wit writers, the truthsayers and the singers of all those heartbreak stories. Basically the ones that were never 'Born To Be Sold'.
Richey Edwards Ian Hunter Stiv Bators Ronnie Lane Nikki Sudden Tyla Phil Lynott Tex Perkins Jeffrey Lee Pierce Jon Auer Kory Clarke Inger Lorre Jim Ellison David Eugene Edwards
Particuarly Nikki Sudden and Dave Kusworth's Jacobites, no one and i mean no one sings the sad songs better than them.
Oh and the Posies as well, heavenly sounds for tainted words. Just like Material Issue.
And of course King's X, theres something else going on and its more than 3 human beings playing music.
