Your Favorite Hardcore/Punk Album?

Discharge-Hear Nothing,See Nothing, Say Nothing. I saw them tour that. Wall of sound!

Ive always been a fan of Terror. Saw them live last year with The Warriors. The venue is two stories with a balcony and people were flying off all night. It was crazy.

Also HOODS. I heard someone was hacked to death with a mascheti (sp?) in a pit at one of their shows. CRAZY!

Both "The First Four Years" and "Damaged" by Black Flag.

I'm not a big hardcore fan but I did enjoy the Dead Kennedys album Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegitubles.

The closest i come to hardcore is early Husker Du, Bad Brains, Replacements, Redd Kross etc. Wouldn't call em 'Hardcore' but their somewhere around it early on.

Not real familiar with punk. But from what I've listened to, I'd go with the Ramones debut.

I'd call Bad Brain hardcore for sure.

Gotta back RP here...BAD BRAINS were awesome....not overrated. They were pioneers....well at least till HR left then they got mediocre (imo)....but the early work...."I Against I" is f'n classic....

Both great records! "Coup" is the Plasmatics' best IMO.

I saw Leeway years ago (I believe on their Born To Expire tour) opening for Suicidal Tendencies... I will never forget the mosh pits that night, they were frickin' scary!!
