When I was in junior high (maybe 11 or 12 years old at most) I had a University of Southern California (aka "the Trojans") sweat shirt that said "USC TROJANS" on the front in humongous letters. It was quite some time before I finally understood why so many kids were snickering at my shirt every time I walked by.
