| Eric, since yesterday I have had mp3s of the entire new Testament album,...and its not out for 6 weeks...it was actually really easy to find online ( and that really saddens me) of course I will buy a new copy of the CD when it comes out, to have the whole package - art work, liner notes, case, best sound qaulity, and of course to support the band....but man, its just so easy to take stuff for free online,.....these days you really have to play music cuse ya love it,....and you cant think your gonna make much money from it.... but,....anyway...the album is awesome......I definately think its better than the gathering, demonic, low and the ritual ( still cant beat the first 4 though) Id say its like The Gathering with alot more solos ( theres some in every song) Chuck uses his clean voice alot more on this one as well ( although there is ONE song on the album that he uses his Death Metal Voice the whole way through - that song is super fast,...it reminds me alot of the very last song on The Gathering - and the songs are better written than they were on the gathering - to me quite a few of the songs on the gathering, the song structures were to basic and simple - to much verse chorus, verse chorus, songs over - that is not a problem on this album anyway....I will be happy to send you MP3s of the whole album, as long as you still buy a copy of the album ~ if you want i can just send ya a couple more songs and thats it, if ya want.......................anyway, see ya soon |m| | |

| I know you've said that you will be buying a copy of this album I find it a bit strange that you even searched for the album online in the first place with the intention of stealing it for free. I know this is gonna be a bit preachy but I am constantly becoming frustrated at peoples lame excuses for why they steal music and download it for free. Listen up people THEIR IS NO EXCUSE, IT IS WRONG!!!! To add insult to injury not only have you downloaded this album for free you brag about this on an internet forum and then begin to tell people what the album is like. Why could you not have just waited for the official release if your gonna buy the album anyway? Please in future if your gonna download albums please do eveyone a favor and don't post a review on this or any other forum, keep it to yourself. | |

I didn't search for the downloads, my friend did and what you read was his review he sent me in a e-mail. I don't even know how to go about looking for "leaked" music online and never have tried but my friend does. At least he buys a hardcopy of it to support the band. Don't try to tell me you never have heard songs online before a album was released. I also have bought promo copies of albums before their release date for cheap at record stores. Am i cheating the band by not buying a full priced version? I support the bands i like and if i do hear music beforehand i don't share it with others. Word

Word I have NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! heard song online before analbum has been released. That would make me an incredible hypocrite for being critical of your post. Every piece of music I have ever listened to or owned has been bought, I also do not own any cdr copies of any albums. Their's no point in continuing this argument as these are my views and I'm not exactly in a position to stop you doing whatever you are going to do I just do't have to like it, and I dont appreciate any posts of reviews of albums that have not been released. So what if your friend buys a hardcopy, he is still helping the people who leaked the album in the first place to continue doing it in the future.

| You still act like i'm the one that sought after the downloads. Well if you're going to go on a crusade over this you're going to have to do it against half the people on this board because i can guarantee that they have done the same. As far as you not liking reviews... sorry but who are you??? I have been here alot longer than you and i don't like everything others post but i tolerate it because they have a right to post what they like. Get it! | |

Whoop-de-doo, what do you want, a medal? I'm sure plenty of others on the forum could "boast" that. - UltraMagnus007 wrote:

First and foremost, you do realise that a lot of official album reviews are based off promo copies and are released before the album itself, right? I'm not saying that's always how it happens, but to make such a fuss over a 'preview', if you will, is ridiculous. I understand where you're coming from with your stance on downloading music, but to justify your tirade by saying that you don't wish to hear a review of an unreleased album is ridiculous - if you actually thought that, why did you even click this topic? - UltraMagnus007 wrote:
- Their's no point
However, there's point in learning the difference between 'there' and 'their'. _________________

| Obviously, Smindas I understand that most if not all reviews about unreleased albums are based on promo copies or such like what I meant was I don't like people talking about albums that they have downloaded way before release. A magazine review or other such official review is different from someone downloading the album and talking about it on an internet forum. I fully understand that everyone has the right to post what they want and who am I to say what they can and can't post it's just that I absolutely detest people who download albums they haven't paid for and If I come across this on the forum again I will speak up every time. As for your rather pedantic breakdown of my post grow up! so what if I used their's instead of there's, big deal hardly worth mentioning. | |

Read my post! I underatand you didn't download the album. So what if you've been on this site longer than me, what does that matter. I'm entitled to an opinion just he same as you and as for tolerating other posts does that mean you will never challenge someone if they post something you disagree with. Stop me if I'm wrong but I thought that was the whole point of a forum, so people can enter into discussions and sometimes they will disagree. I will end this post by saying I didn't mean or intend to attack you personally and maybe I could have made my point in a les aggressive way.

| UM-you came across as an ass and didn't back your point well. I agree with what you say about downloading stuff if you have no intention to buy but that is not what Troublezone said. Maybe you should read the whole post. - Quote :

Absolutely f*cking sick and tired of defending myself on this subject, think i'll just give up and leave his site.

Hmmm, cryptic. You didn't back your point by laying into TZ about downloading and then later saying you knew he didn't download. That's seems a tad inconsistent to me. |
