New TESTAMENT song posted

I think this is really good. I think people have trouble with Low and Demonic because of the heaviness of the bottom end. Kind of different for Testament.

LOW is my favorite Testament record! Scott, you can get that one fairly cheap, don't ignore it!!

You know, I brought some Testament in today and just finished listening to First Strike Still Deadly and I have to disagree with you. I think it sounds like The Gathering, like they said it would. And The Gathering sounds like a heavier version of The Ritual, basically. But if you listen to First Strike Still Deadly, the early songs haven't been changed at all; but they sound like this new song. Even though the songs were written like 20 years previous, they sound brand new. I think the songwriting on this song is more like early Testament, while the sound of it is older Testament.

Either way, whether it's old school or not, I think this tune is killer.

I was FINALLY able to hear the new tune cuz Testament have now posted it on their MySpace page... and I agree on all counts, it is indeed killer! Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album!!

Most of the time, when good bands release a long awaited comeback album, they usually suck. But if Testament's new album sounds half as good as good as that one song, that will not be the case. Their new track kicks some serious butt.

This is surely no comeback album, considering the band never quite went away. The Gathering is awesome! They've simply been away a while, so we can call it a welcome back album. Haha.

Sattelite radio has been giviing this lots of airplay. Can't wait to hear the whole album.
