Sentinel Beast

Wow! Good stuff. I picked up this Metal Blade release in the used bins
on vinyl for half a dollar. This is some good classic metal. It
actually borders on early thrash metal/speed metal. Female vocals, but
they don't suck. For some reason I expected them to, but she does a
great job.

The only song I know of theirs is "Sentinel Beast" off one of the Metal Massacres. I thought that song was pretty cool.I take it the album is in the same vein ? If I'm not mistaken, the lead singer is deceased (unless I'm confusing her with someone else ?)

I have only heard couple of songs from them, but they sound quite good.

And some information if anyone cares: I have read somewhere that their debut will be reissued, and they are making an new album.

She is still alive. You probably confused her to Dawn Crosby (Detente, Fear Of God).

Yeah I have that metal massacre set everyone of them.

I had that Senteil Beast o vinyl but sold it!

According to their Myspace, bassist Mike Spencer was Jason Newsted's replacement when he left Flotsam and Jetsam. How little did I know.

I'm checking out their myspace now, hoping to hear some tuneage, but may take a while with this crappy dial-up.
