KILLERS - Murder One

You don't hear much talk of Paul DiAnno outside of Iron Maiden, but he's actually released some good material since his days in Maiden. One of the best is KILLERS - Murder One. Anyone have this CD? Thoughts?

Of course i have that cd. A good one. Like also his BATTLEZONE days, specialy the first two albums.
By KILLERS i have also a live album and a two cd edition of rare and more live stuff called NEW LIVE AND RARE.

This is a really good album.

I have Murder One and Menace To Society loaded in the IPod. Listened to Murder One today. Good stuff.

I'd love to get Battlezone again. It was not near as good as those two albums, but it's still a classic in my book. I Don't Wanna Know was (and is) a great song.

Probably the best thing he's ever done.I love that album! "Impaler","The Beast Arises" and "Marshall Lokjaw" are superb.In fact i personally prefer Killers "Murder One" over his work in Maiden' and Battlezone'.........pretty high praise huh ? Also like "Menace"-although to me its not the monster M1 was.

What a cracking album. I recenty bought this again re-mastered and it sounds absolutely killer (pun intended).

This is the best thing Paul did after Maiden, Got the 2nd Killers abum recently, Menace to Society. What a dissappointment. Sounds like a poor mans Pantera and nothing ike the Metal classic that was Murder One.

Paul DiAnno has both Killers albums on his web site to download. I have them both though and both Killer's albums are killer!

I was spinning this album earlier today in the car. Awesome. I need to check out their other releases.

How is Paul doing, by the way ? Didn't he have a health scare ?

I have a bunch of his CDs - none from when he was in Maiden.
Witchfinder - suggested this one to me -
saying it was right up there with Battlezone -
He writes some great lyrics - almost like Halford - or Ozzy -
I always felt he wanted to be like Mustaine -
and get even with his previous band

As a side note - Wild Dogs - have a intense song - about pain and chains and whips -

Killers has " S&M " - it's even more insane - than the Wild Dogs song.

Menace To Society was Killers doing their best Pantera impersonation.
