boring! No one scored, we were just watching people skate around in circles and body checking.
You went to a professional hockey game in the U.S. or Canada and no one scored? Someone had to score eventually. Pro hockey games don't end until someone wins, whether it be in overtime or in a shootout. Overtime and shootouts are usually pretty exciting. If nothing else, people seem to enjoy the checking and the fights.
I don't expect others to agree with my opinion. I've never been a sports fan and only got into hockey about five or so years ago. I'm addicted now. I still find football incredibly boring to watch, although not quite as mind numbing as baseball or golf.
ult Well yeah they did eventually score but what i meant is it took a real long time that's why i said noone scored. Soccer is kinda the same way with the long periods wihout scoring. I actually am more into basketball myself which is very fast paced and fun to watch. Lakers!!!

Um...actually he did congratulate him. Pay attention. Either way, I think both teams played pretty bad. The Pats just played terribly, and the Giants's defense destroyed our offensive line. |

| Not a really great game, but a terrific upset for the Giants. Congreats!
Tom Petty was pretty lackluster at halftime as well.

| The half-time show could have been way better. I wish they got someone better out there. I like Tom Petty but why him? Why not Led Zeppelin? | |

| Tom Petty was lip-syncing, which is pathetic. Did you see when he actually said something to the crowd and whoever was in the soundbooth missed their cue and only half of Tom's sentence was heard? Haha. Pretty pathetic that music has become something like that. And Tom Petty! The dude should have a bit more integrity than that. |

| Congrats on the Giants being the worse team to win the SB.. Sports to me has become unbelievable sometimes. Watching this game it looked like the Pats werent even motivated. Therefore it makes it even harder to believe that this game wasnt decided before the coin toss. Tom Brady is one of the most accurate passers in the NFL he looked like Mr. Vick out there with his passes. The Pats have one of the best O Lines in Football and they looked nothing like they did all year. What i am saying is this looked like a totally uninspired Pats team whom looked lost out there. Congrats to the Giants on a great win though..
Prediction: Giants 7-9 next year no playoffs (Eagles winning the NFC East)
SB: Chargers 17 Eagles 16 if u havent noticed 2 of the 3 1st Rd QB's taken in the NFL draft a few years have won Super Bowls. Ben Rothlisberger and Eli Manning it looks like its Phillip Rivers turn..

Yeah for a team that could have made history at being the first to go 19-0,the Pats looked awfully flat.

| The Patriots looked like crap I think. The Giants didn't look alot better until it counted. That last drive of the Giants was pretty amazing. |

| I can't believe he got out of that crap! Haha. No matter. The Pats had one good drive the whole game, and that was in the fourth. That was the Patriots. Not sure where that team was the other 55 minutes of the game, but had they played the whole game like they did in that 5 minutes, it would have a monumental destruction. Haha. |

| Man, it goes like that some times.
I think we've all been on both ends of this concerning rooting interests. I for one love the poetry of their loss! ALL YEAR the Super Bowl was a forgone conclusion in most folks' minds who claim Pat allegiance. Go Raiders! Next year(s)!!

| What a great game! It was a tough choice for MVP, could have gone to Eli for his last 2 drives (just amazing!) He deserved it! Or to NY's defensive line - they managed to slow down the pats, confuse Brady and keep him from having enough time to throw the long ball. I love a Superbowl that comes down to last seconds! 007 - I agree with your earlier post. I am a huge football fan! America's Game! For the hockey fans, I do enjoy going to a hockey game, it's always fun! But, IMHO, doesn't come close to Football!!! Now, it's over for now (aside for a game that doesn't matter). It's a long wait until kick off weekend in September! Thank God for the NFL Network!!!! | |

I just watched the video again and he is IMO not lip-syncing. His pitch is different and sounds nothing like the studio recordings. During "Free Fallin" his mic was clipped(turned off) during the echo effect and was turned on late probably because he wasn't supposed to say anything at that point, everything is scripted to a T. Whoever had his mic turned down was probably, promptly let go from his/her position as soon as the performance was finished. Anyway it sounded live and sincere to me. Good job Tom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeIcn0Ng2TI&feature=related
