I don't think they made it this far! However, Krispy Kremes are found here...just not in Abilene!

Krispy Kremes are better than Dunkin donuts anyway.

Oh I'm sorry....better than Dunkin Donuts, IMO. Don't want to have to defend my stand on donuts.

Actually, I do have a Simpsons Encyclopedia, but it's in my desk drawer @ work... and it only covers the first five or six seasons... I'm too cheap to spring for the subsequent volumes!!

In my opinion, you gotta go with the local donut stores, those big chains like KK or Dunkin just make em too fake. There's one close by owned by the coolest asians.

By the way, is it customary for asians to run donut stores? 'cause it sure seems like it around here

I work in a bakery....we make nearly 60 dozen donuts every morning...and as Fat Tuesday is approaching fastnachts on top of that....

Needless to say I stopped eating S*** like that a dozen years ago, the smell of the oil and frying dough makes me woofy....


But I wanna thank all the donut eaters for paying my wgaes all these years.....


Now:

I had some donuts this morning. One cinnimon roll, a dozen glazed donut holes, and a chocholate glazed. Get them from a place called The Donut Palace. It is ran by a nice Asian couple and the dounuts are awesome. I had Krispy Kream donuts and they are not even close to being as good. I only ate them because at the gas station I worked at we would throw away so many at night, that I would take a fresh one knowing that at least one would not be wasted (it would always be from the glazed donuts because I threw away tons of those every day).

Haven't had a really good donut in YEARS!!

My wife and I bought ourselves a chocolate coated, cream filled donut once at this little place in Gatlinberg (sp?), Tennessee called the Donut Friar (obvious pun...) and they were hands down the BEST donuts I've EVER had!!

I used to really enjoy donuts before I got married.
