| I agree with Kerry King when it comes to Dave Mustaine. 1) Awesome Guitar Player 2) Makes Great Albums 3) Can Be A Total A**Hole This Has To Be The One Interview I've Read Were Dave Has Sounded Like A Total A**Hole. I Agree That Who Ever Interviewed Him Was Trying To Tick Him Off. As For Dave Not Wanting To Play With "Satanic" Bands. SUCK IT UP. It's Not Like Bands Like Dissection Actully Fully Worship Satan And Are Trying To Eliminate All Christans. They Just Use The B-Grade Horror Thing As A Gimmick. Dave Should Stop Focusing So Much On Whats Morally Right For Him And Focus On Pleasing The Fans The Ones Who Made Him This Self-Proclaimed "legend" | |

I don't think he has a right to consider himself a legend, thats a bit egotistical. But whatever. I don't even care anymore. ditto, i stopped caring when countdown came out. _________________

Yes.
Is Dave Mustaine a doofus? Yes.
Does Megadeth still kick ass? Yes. It's like I don't have to post at all.

| Oh my god, what a wanker. I always thought of Dave Mustaine as a total dick head, but this is too much. Maybe I sound immature when I call him a "show-off", but damn it describes a lot. I don't see how anyone could be so full of it, to actually state oneself as a "legend". He has so much empty pride, it's hard to believe he actually takes himself seriously. I do not know what is wrong with the guy. Sure, he composes kick-ass music and went through all that smurf poo, but that is no excuse for coming off like he did. And then, boasting about his black belt? What is he, eight years old!? Come on Dave...he was clearly just trying to convince his fans that he still is a "bad-ass", because he is too scared to actually confront that guy (DISSECTION front man). Man, he is so full of it. What a jerk. | |

| I don't give a rip what Dave says or how big his ego is. He's not the first rock and roll guitarist/vocalist to have a head to big to fit in a room. I only care about the music, and I like what Megadeth has been doing.
I also agree that the interviewer was giving Dave attitude, thus Dave was giving it right back.
I love UFO, despite the fact that Schenker thinks he is a god.
I like Yngwie Malmsteen. No one seems to have a bigger head than Yngwie.
Halford calls himself "the Metal God!" constantly in the press, yet no one claims he is a wanker for calling himself a legend.
Gene Simmons is the prime example of a prideful rockstar, yet I love Kiss. Gene plays the part of the rockstar well. People either love him or hate him.
Dave is Dave. I'm glad he's found some peace in God and no longer is killing himself with drugs. Good for him. Becoming a Christian doesn't change a person over night. _________________ ULTIMATUM - TOO METAL FOR WIKIPEDIA!

| In my eyes musicians are musicians and no one is better then the next. To say u r a legend or god is a slap in the face to all the other musicians out there. Unfortunately Dave has been around a long time and because of that longevity ppl tend to give him a big head that he doesnt deserve more then the next guy.
Dave is a great musician, there are a lot better, and a lot more successful, so like i said saying he is a legend, is a smack in the face to everyone else in the music business.
I think the thing that bothers me the most is his ego..

Can't hate him for saying truth. Dudes, Dave goes out in front of Arenas, and plays his acoustic guitar for fans. He does shows all over the country, incuding AK and Hawaii. Hew talks to fans on his forum. If Dave hates Lars, I don't care. Dave is a truthful person. Dave rules. |

No one else does this? Like i said b4 he's using his success to think he's a legend. He should of used the word verisimilitude to describe himself. Dave hasnt done anything that hasnt been done in the music industry. Dave's as real as they come and speaks his mind as he should, he just needs to keep the LEGEND remark out cuz hes far from it..

You should keep your opinion as opinion, that would be better. |

| of course this is all my opinion, as your remarks are your opinion. We all have our opinions on this subject.
He's a great musician in a good band. There are no legends in the music industry thats my opinion and to call ones self a Legend is immature i think.

| My remarks about what he does aren't opinion, they're facts. My opinion on whether he is a legend is an opinion, as is yours. You saying HE IS NOT is you acting like your opinion is fact. That's all. The moral of this story is IMO is your friend. |

He is just hiding behind his fate in God. He is not a good person at all but you dont care if he is good or bad because you care about his music only. I respect that. - ultmetal wrote:

| The only thing that REALLY irritates me about Dave and metallica, is how they were always bitching about each other. And these constant wars between online fans, its wayyyyyyyy past proposterous now. | |

Yeah, especially since Megadeth and their fans won the war years ago. |
