Damien Thorne?

Never seen no mention of this Chicago based metal band Damien Thorne. Recently got their new cd called "Haunted Mind".
I checked their website out and it looks like they have 2 cds out from the 80's.

What are they like? If they are like the new one should kick azz!

I have "Haunted Mind" it's pretty solid....

The mix is a bit rough in spots. but overall nice traditional tinged metal!!!

I have only THE SIGN OF THE JACKAL from 86 on vinyl(pure and cool US METAL) and their demo from 1984. I have to get their other releases. They were part of the horror/shock metal movement in the mid 80s (IMPALER, HALLOWEEN, RIPPER, LIZZY BORDEN, very early HALLOWS EVE etc....)mixing heavy metal with horror lirics, stage shows and image. I love it because i love those early and mid 80s horror movies that many of those bands based their lirics and looks.

I saw theitr new album on CDBaby, but the artwork is so lame I couldnt bring myself buying it.

I have "Wrath of Darkness" which was recorded in the 80s but not released until 2001. It's a pretty solid album.
