Beard Metal

What is up with all these new band full of young guys growing all these massive beards?? I was flipping through a Metal mag @ lunch and like every other page I saw 2 or 3 guys with big ol' "Wizard Redneck", bushy beards!! It was crazy!!

lamb of god certainly have massive beards like zz top

It's cause all the nu-metal guys who could only grow chin slinkys before before are finally growing up.

Maybe they can't grow it on top so they have to resort to facial hair. Or they're just trying to look like 70's era Kansas. That was a hairy bunch.

Beards and the one guy with short hair that also has a real job.

Bands need to bring back the big 70's porn-star 'stache!! Now that was a look!!

Just that I've seen more beards in Metal magazines in the last six months than I ever have in my life...

Best I could do... I was trying to find a '70s pic of him when he had the whole Maharishi Yoga thing goin' on (long ass hair and beard, flowing hippie outfit), like on the back cover of "Rocka Rolla," but Google Image Search doesn't come up with much for Ian. He's like the Invisible Judas Priest Member!!!
