Allot of folks write these guys off as posers or trend-hoppers or whatever, but dang if that ain't a catchy tune. And I like that a young band can thrown on a decent intrumental at the end of the cd. Very old-school mentality. thats a great cd regardless of what ppl think. To me music is music regardless of who the band might sound like. If it catches my attention thats all that matters. It seems that ppl dis bands or hate them because they sound like other bands too much. Trivium is the perfect example as they come off to everyone as Metallica and Testament rip offs when they are just playing the music they love.
All in all a good band in my eyes and a great instrumental there I never got the Metallica/Testament comparison...I listened to their music... while it ain't terrible, it's just...I don't care for them...and seriously, where are those comparisons? I can't hear any!

First thing I think of whenever I see this kind of thread. Any/all of the instrumentals from Yngwie's Rising Force and Marching Out albums. Gary Moore - The Loner and The Messiah Will Come Again (not really all that Metal, but still awesome) Racer X - Y.R.O. and Viking Kong Jason Becker - the whole Perpetual Burn album
