Hey Eyesore, What're ORIENTAL SPAS like? I hear them bandied about on the sleaze boards all the time...I know way back when I had a cd of theirs but I cannot for the life of me recall their sound....

Ventured into a Pawn Shop today to look for music. Didn't have much in the way of cd's, but if I want interracial teen porn dvd's or used power tools, I now know where to shop. Anyway, I picked up a few discs, nothing great, but at $2 a pop, I figured I give 'em a shot.

Street Lines is sleazy. The Telling Tree and Pain are not. They sort of shifted into something more mellow, even funky, after Street Lines. And when the guy sings they sort of suck. The chick has an awesome voice, though. You'd probably dig a good amount of Street Lines. They have one other that I've not heard yet.

That remains to be seen. I brought them into work with me this week to give 'em some spins. They weren't exactly high up on my want list, but I figured I might as well buy something since I made the effort to go into this seedy joint. At the very least, I'll have some trade fodder.

Good score on that Alter Boys disc. I've been looking for it for a long time. This copy was $3.99. Not sealed, but that sticker strip was still holding the jewelcase shut, so it might as well be brand new. This was a little project between some dudes from Dog Fashion Disco and Mushroomhead and—oddly enough—Ryan Dunn from Jackass. Really cool stuff.

Also, I haven't listened to The Scarecrow all the way through, but I am convince that the title track is one of the best song I've ever heard. Absolutely amazing tune!
