About old school shoes!

I'm from Brazil and im new here! I realy liked this forum a lot!

I noticed that is a lot of users from several countries here and I've decided
to exposing an old curiosity. There will:

Here, people like me who follows old metal fashion ways, find difficulties
to buy these kind of clotes like hi-top shoes(reebok, nike etc..) , tight pants and shirt.. all like 80's!!

And my curiosity is: "In you country, how hard/easy is to find/buy these
kind of clotes?" and "How the people watch you(if you desses that way)?".

2 years ago I bought a red pair. (For only $10 but they weren't from the true companie) The real price is over $60...

if you go to zappos.com, they have reebok exofits, black or white.

I bought a pair of regular Converse Chuck Taylors about 6 years ago for $22. I don't know why now, but they've exploded in price. Luckily I won't need another pair for years as I only use them for particular reason and they won't wear out very soon.

But yeah, the internet, baby! You can get just about anything!

80s or not, forget about the tight pants, man. That was always retarded. Personally, I go for the metal wigger look.

here in the states, people dress anyway they choose & no one pays any special attention to them.

hmmmm. . . tight pants? I brought all my jeans to a tailor and told him to trim it down the legs a few inches- now they're tight. Oh, and I bought a pair of white addidas ribber shoes with black stripes in the sides. Don't forget your sleeveless metal tee (preferably iron maiden) and a denim jacket!

I love hitops, tight pants, etc., but it's very hard to find those in
Slovenia! I said to myself many times that I'll buy those from ebay,
but I always spend everything on CDs

First of all, welcome to Heart Of Metal. Tight pants...no frickin' way. Even when I wasn't fat I would never wear them. I like to have breathing room so all my pants are loose, even my leather ones. As far as shoes, before I was in the navy my dad would buy my shoes and they would always be cheap ones, mainly because shoes don't last long with me, and I didn't care one way or the other. However, after my experience in the navy I've only worn steel-toed boots, their comfortable once broken in and they last for a LONG time. I usually get Brahma brand from Wal-Mart, their only about $30 and last me for a year. I will probably never wear shoes again, unless I get my lazy butt to a gym. And of course as t-shirts go, just look at my list in (page 3):

I can't wear anything tight, except socks! I hate it. I like everything baggy.

yeah i always wear steel toed lace up combat boots. my wife calls them skinhead shoes, but they are actually issued by the Israeli military. i call them my sh*t kickers. they last forever & take quite a beating. they also give out quite a beating if needed.

Eh, whatever to each his own. I prefer whatever's comfortable, but every now and then ill don some tight jeans, if the occasion is right. lol

They should play metal at proms.

These are what I used to wear in the 90's.

I wore Vans High tops in the 80s

I just had my co-worker take a picture of my shoes.
