How old were you when you had your first girlfriend?

I was just wondering. I am 22 years old and have never even dated a girl, let alone had a real girlfriend.

i started dating when i was 13. chicks always liked me because i had a job sweeping lots & so i had money to spend on them. i still didn't lose my virginity until 2 years later... probably because i finally got a car.

how on earth can you have a car at fifteen. hell im still a virgin i dont mind admitting it

my father bought it for me when i got my learners permit to drive. it's pretty common here in the US.

nothing wrong with being a virgin, but that doesn't mean you can never date a woman.

I had some "friends who were girls" when I was in high school, but didn't have a real "girlfriend" (or any of the, ahem, "benefits" that came with it) till I was a freshman in college.

Don't kill yourself looking for a "metal chick." It would be nice to have someone who shares your taste in music of course, but it doesn't have to be the be-all and end-all. None of my girlfriends back in the day were metal heads, and as a matter of fact my wife likes country music (blech)!

no i am not holding out for a fan of metal. actually we had a new girl start at work who is into metal andi was gonna ask her out after i came back from my holiday on sapin to find out she was going out with my friend from work. the other time i got turned down in advance twice by someone i really liked and was afriend of mineand did not like metal. i have been single for two years now and that has pros and CONS

i agree with fat fred. you can find other things you both enjoy if you give her a chance. you shouldn't let any one particular thing be a deciding factor.

oh i have no deciding factors as you put it. i just really never meet anyone really. i dont really "go out£ at weekends because of work so that is one way of socialising i cant really do

28 and still waiting. I'm a coward when it comes to attractive women. Any relationships I've had (friends) was instigated by the other person, as how it will probably have to be for my girlfirend, unless I build up enough courage (the older and lonleier I get, the less apprehensive I'll probably be). I don't do clubbing or anything like that and there is only one attractive girl that works at the same place I do and she is taken so I have to rely on my singles class at church. Unfortunatly, there is no single girl I feel an immediate attraction (or any at all) to in my class and the only prospects showed up for one Sunday and never came back. I leave it up to prayer now and hope God will put someone in my path. Unfortunatly, I need to get my other affairs in order (find a steady career, get out of debt, get my own place, etc.) before I should start worrying about a female companion, unless I find some financially well off chick who will support me .

i'm with you all dudes ... no girlfriend. still virgin. but no matter. still waiting for girl. lots of girls around me every day in my job, i'm pissed of to have all day around me. i'm so happy when i get home and i'm alone ! i love quiet (riot ) !

14 was my first gf.

It is not important if the girls likes what you like, it is important that she understands that you like it and doesn't have a problem with it.

My gf likes metal but is more into the 80's pop stuff and the 60's/70's hard rock. I dig more of the harder 80's stuff and the oddball 90s and newer stuff. We meet in the middle and introduce each other to stuff and are able to understand why one or the other likes it or doesn't like it.

Depending on how you define girlfriend. I don't think those Jr. High ones count....so...

I was 17 and a Senior in HS. Still think of her some even though I'm happily married. Not sure you ever get that first true love out of your mind. She's a ghost from the past that carries with me. Not good or bad, just there.....

My wife and I crushed each others 55 combined years of virginity together!!

On a side note.....the reason I finally broke up with GF #1 after some stops/starts in the relationship is............wait for it...........She was pressuring me to have sex!!!

Life's a trip, Colonel. I wanted to wait! Glad I did, but turning down a Winona Ryder look-a-like was one of the hardest things to do in my life. I still wonder how I did as I actually think in that regard I'm a weaker man these days. I truly think God was with me on that one!

My first serious Girlfriend was in High school.We dated for a couple years.Everyone figured we would get married,but then we broke up before we graduated.

I was 16, she was 15.

The odd thing is, I still kind of know her. The other day I was hanging
out at my friend's shop, waiting for him to close up so we could
practice, and her husband (second or third, can't remember which) walks
in with a thirty pack saying that she had locked him out of the house.
He just wanted a sypathetic set of ears, but the whole time part of me
was thinking "Thank you Lord that I never married this girl!"
