I've liked every track I've heard so far!

This is shaping up to be a great release, based on what has been put out so far.

It’s good, but nothing is amazing.

I’m just glad they’re still around making music… but most of everything they’ve done since they reunited with Halford has been by the numbers formula. At this point I can’t expect anything too much out of their comfort zone. Maybe one or two stand out tracks…

I hate to say it, but they are not firing on all cylinders keeping Tipton in the band and relying on Ritchie for everything. Tipton can’t play anymore. They need KK back! He has proven he still has chops on his KK’s Priest albums.

So what's the verdict?

One of the biggest, if not THE biggest, metal albums of the year has just been released.

I didn't hear it yet myself, my CD is in the mail, but I want to know what you guys think.

I've given it one listen through. Pretty good stuff, I think.

I think it’s a banger! The first three songs are absolute scorchers. The album then slows down a little bit, but it’s still plenty heavy. If you’re a fan of the band, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I have a copy ordered. It won't be here until Wednesday.

Ordered yesterday.

2 more weeks before i get my copy. Not checking the album on YouTube in the meantime.

I've listened to the Deluxe Edition with the 3 bonus tracks four times. I really like it. Definitely a worthy follow up to Firepower.

Completely agree.

I don't have the CD yet so I broke my own unwritten rule about not pre-listening to a new album and gave it a listen on YouTube... sounds pretty damn good to me thus far.

I was gonna wait till the end of the month but last night I broke down and ordered Target's "Deluxe Exclusive" version of the new Priest CD, which comes in a "deluxe hard cover book" package and has three extra tracks. Because I'm a nerd.

I should have it by Friday. Woohoo!

That's the version I ordered. It showed up yesterday while I was at work.

That's the version I picked up. Very cool packaging.

My copy arrived today.

“As God Is My Witness” is rapidly moving up the list of my favorite songs on this album.

The two standout tracks for me are: The Serpent and the King and As God Is My Witness. Panic Attack is okay too.
