(IMHDO) An audio or video format might interest me, depending on who it was.
Going to a concert and watching something totally fake holds no interest to me.
What about you?

You talking hologram shit? I'd probably go if it was good, cheap, and not trying to be something it's not. Guess it'd be no different than going to see a movie. But I don't want to see live band members next to holograms doing shows. It would have to be bands that are no longer touring, and will never tour again.

Nope. I’d pass on it.
I’d rather let the past remain in the past.
I’m fine with watching documentaries and movies of real footage taken while the band was still alive and active.
But I’m not really into paying to see a hologram of a band or person performing on a stage. If it was free… maybe. But it would feel really weird and artificial.

It wasn't quite "A.I." but Wendy Dio tried a similar idea with the RJD Hologram tour a couple of years ago... it didn't go over very well.
I rarely go to concerts at all nowadays so I'd be even less likely to go see an "artificial" version.

No. Like Freddy, I rarely go to concerts anymore and this would pique my interest even less than a real performance.

Why not? It sounds like it would be better than a DVD. And you get to drink beer with other fans. Better than just going to a metal bar and listening to music on the speakers.

So now I know why he’s asking. I just read a headline stating that some record company signed their first AI band to a record deal or some such shit. I honestly thought Hollywood would have been first to do this, but guess the music industry beat them to it. Strange times we live in. So I guess the question is, would I support them? Probably not in a live setting, but if the music is good then I might buy a digital copy for a cheap price. Would not pay more than a couple dollars, and the music would have to blow me away.

Did not see that. It was just something that popped in the head recently.
Speaking of Hollywood
I figured they would license the image of some dead actor/actress for new movies or something like that. Cheaper to pay an Estate for permission to use the likeness than pay some mega-movie star ZILLIONS for a role in their shitty movies.

I figured they have done that already. I’m waiting for them to create a cgi movie star one day and not tell anyone he or she isn’t a real person.

(IMHDO) They already do that shit 99.9% of Hollywood Stars are living in a reality that does nor involve a real person.

I would not reflexively answer NO so quickly. I am open minded about sampling a finished product to see if it was done so well as not to question the quality of blending old with new. I think about the groundbreaking effects in Forrest Gump, how well that was done. We had never seen anything like that before. It was done so well that I didn't realize the movie was a love story, LOL. I love you Jenny. Almost 20 years before that, I remember standing in that long line for the debut of the first star wars movie. When the movie started to roll, my jaw was on the floor. I walked away feel bedazzled to the point that I could not follow the story line. Just examples of innovative technology at their infancy.
That said, one of several concerts I went to this past summer was the Carl Palmer Band celebrating the 50th year anniversary of Emerson, Lake and Palmer's Welcome Back My Friends. He got the permission from the Emerson and Lake families to share vintage footage on large screens at the back of the stage while he flawlessly played the drums. Between songs, he made his way down to the microphone to talk to the audience about what it meant to play with virtuosos, tell special back stories about the upcoming song, etc. Carl was firm that he did not want AI in the form of being on stage with holograms. I thought, why not?!! If done well, that would really add to the concert experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2pYeyJCykc&t=6s
