I don't have the debut and I never even heard it. And I only truly got into Rush last year. I find all five of the albums I listed really good. But A Farewell to Kings is the standout for me. Xanadu is incredible. The closing epic is maybe not so incredible (the pt. 2 featured on Hemispheres is far superior), but the rest of the album is all awesome.
