HELIOS - Touch The Sun (2022)

When I brought his name came up in the Control Denied thread, I realized I'd never posted my review of Tim Aymar's new band, HELIOS. Their debut "Touch The Sun" was recently released by Stormspell.
Old school U.S. Power Metal ala Iced Earth, Cage, Dio, Helstar, etc.

Just read on social media that Helios vocalist Tim Aymar passed away today. Rest in Power!

Oh that's terrible. I really liked Control Denied. And even this song in the original post.

I guess there is even less chance now of that second Control Denied album being finished. Unless they get Mr. standby, Ripper Owens.

Hell no!

I was never a fan of his. And I hated when he temporarily replaced AK in Flotsam.

I’d rather have Ronny Munroe or the guy from Witherfall. Better yet, Stu Block!
