Michael Bloodgood, bassist and founder of the '80s Christian metal band Bloodgood, has passed away from complications caused by a stroke he'd suffered earlier this year.
I was never a particularly huge Bloodgood fan, but I always thought their Detonation album from '87 was a pretty solid jam. My old cassette copy of it has been lost to the ages, so I'm givin' it a spin via YouTube right now.

On a whim I checked out Girder Music's July 4th sale last night and ended up ordering their 2019 "special edition" reissue of Detonation, so that album will be part of my collection again soon.
