| Greetings. I just joined the board recently and have contributed to a few discussions. I have decided to do a poll to find y'all's favorite Bloodgood album. I searched for this and came up empty. I'm just including the studio albums, although if one of the live ones is your favorite, feel free to comment. Anyway, my favorite album is probably "Rock In A Hard Place." I put "Detonation" on nearly equal footing, but I find myself returning to "Rock" most frequently. Not a bad song on either album, IMHO. So, have at it! | |

| Out of the Darkness hands down! I simply love this album. I love the groove that Michael Bloodgood lays down on songs like "Hey You" and "It's Alright". This album is Bloodgood at their best. There is speed, groove, hooks, melody and thought provoking lyrics. While all of their albums are great, this is my favorite by far. | |

| Detonation by a mile - awesome album! David Z. was the best guitarist to play on any Bloodgood albums | |

| I need to break out "out of the darkness" again. It's been a while. For some reason, except for a couple of songs, the album has never clicked with me like the first 3. That being said, I do like every Bloodgood album quite a bit. Maybe tomorrow I'll see if I enjoy "out of the darkness" more than I used to, given the reaction it's getting here. | |

| Detonation is a rawer album but it seems that Les had his voice under control more on Out of the Darkness. | |

| I really like my cassette copy of "Metal Missionaries"
Darrell Mansfiled did okay producing the S/T and it has the most varied and interesting tunes of all the studio albums. (IMHDO)
"Detonation" is by far the "metal" album by them as a whole.
I wasn't too thrilled with either "Rock In A Hard Place" or "Out Of The Darkness" when they were first released but have grown to appreciate them both.
Zaffiro is brilliant with riffs, hooks, melody, and well crafted solos.
I vote for the S/T

| Out of the Darkness, just over Detonation. I was a huge fan back in the day, and love all their albums, though there was always one or two songs on each that didn't gel for me. I still bust out Rock Theater on DVD each Easter. | |

thats me with Rock in a Hard Place. For some reason that album just has never clicked. It's a great metal album, but fro me it's the low point in their catalog. I like All Stand Together a little more too. Underrated gem right there.

| According to their facebook, they are currently working on preproduction for a new album, and Rock in a Hard place is getting a remaster. | |

| Never heard anything beyond the first two ... I was never really big on this band. Detonation was OK, I guess. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

When I finally got it, I was pleasantly surprised. It's actually a very solid album with some great songs!

| Out of the Darkness got my vote because it's the only one I owned. I got rid of it a few years ago though. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

| love the s/t, it has some legendary songs but I went with Detonation, despite it's very thin production. That album is where BG was at their most griitiest and heaviest as far as song structure and attitude. | |

| I voted Detonation. I've been a Bloodgood fan ever since I was introduced to them (through Rock in a Hard Place, back in the 80's), but I wore my Detonation cassette out to where it barely played! Thank God for CD's and mp3's. | |

they re-released Metal Missionaries on cd last year and had a bonus track of a demo of one of the new songs on it. Pretty good! _________________
