It's Rage, I love Rage. And this song has no video or live video but it's a very popular song and Youtube is full of cover versions. The Mirror in Your Eyes.



Outside of Perfect Man that I had on CD, it was one of the first Rage songs I heard, and inspired me to collect their catalogue. It was on a mix tape given to me by my ex-gf (imagine a girl telling you to listen to more Rage). It's a fast song, but it sort of has a gothic vibe. I love it. It's my favourite. The lineup on that Welcome to the Other Side CD is also the best Rage ever had. Terrana's drumming is sick, despite the awkward tinny sound.

After having listened to such a long playlist, I'm going to have to list some honourable mentions.

Valley's Eve - The Mirror in Your Eyes



The same name? Why is it also The Mirror in Your Eyes? That's some German code for "awesome song"? Heavy, catchy also slightly gothic vibe, and I love the vocalist RD Liapakis.

Marius Danielsen's Legend of Valley Doom - Mirror of Truth



I was heavily into this trilogy of albums. Hearing this song again reminded me why. Great catchy epic song. Reminds me of Fear of the Dark. Raphael Mendes is a guest on the song.

Archon Angel - Who's in the Mirror?



A new entry. Zak Stevens doing a catchy tune, as if it was the 90's again. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

An honourable honourable mention goes to Avantasia - The Looking Glass. "As I gaze at the man who is gazing at me, when I stare into the looking glass". The best lyric in any heavy metal outside of Accept?
