Visited a record store over the border in New York State yesterday. They're mostly about vinyl so the CDs are a chaotic mess, stacked in crates in a back room in no order whatsoever...therefore it's the kind of place where you need to have time and patience to do some digging.

After wading through endless heaps of pop/country/boy band/jazz/classical/etc., etc. I came away with this stack, for two bucks a piece:

Soundgarden - Superunknown
Lords of the New Church - Killer Lords: IRS Vintage Years
Faster Pussycat - Wake Me When It's Over
The Doors - Original Motion Picture Sdtrk.
Tesla - Replugged Live (2CD)

Rob Zombie - The Sinister Urge (still sealed)

Nuggets in Boston used to have a $2 section like that. I spent countless hours in there as a kid, found many of my all-time favorite records in those bins. I miss those days sometimes. I don't have the patience for it anymore, though. Once I hit about an hour in a record shop now, I'm pretty much ready to go. Haha.

I only visit this place a couple of times a year, cuz I have to be in the right "mood" to do that kind of digging. But this past Saturday afternoon my wife was at work, the kids were both hanging out with their friends, and I was all alone and bored... which is, of course, the perfect time for such things. I was like "Woo hoo! 'Me time!'" (grabs car keys, runs out door)

A friend of mine actually gave it to me. He had 2 copies. I had never even heard of them before. It is a great rocking album for sure!!
