The reactivated Bay Area legends have finally debuted a new original song, “Upon Their Cross”.
The band also features Bobby Gustafson (formerly of Overkill).
The microphone mostly picks up the drums and lower frequencies, but if you play it loud you can hear everything. Only the vocals are hard to hear… It sounds pretty good to me. Nice and heavy!

Interesting.
I don't own any Vio-Lence albums so far.

Same singer? I only have a couple of their cds, the one thing that holds them back, at least for me, is the singer. Musically they are great, singer just bugs me for some reason.

Yes, same singer.
I understand your opinion. His voice is even more unusual than Bobby Blitz’s.

Out of the three I have, Eternal Nightmare is my favorite.

Not easy to find. I spotted a couple of copies on eBay, but they seem like bootlegs.

They’ll probably end up reissuing the albums soon… or just a nice deluxe edition of Eternal Nightmare. It just depends what label wants to take advantage of the opportunity.

From what I can tell from that clip, it sounds pretty good. I'd like to hear a better version (recording) of it. And all 3 of their full length releases are top notch. I don't have their ep Torture Tactics.

Damn, I looked on discogs, and there are quite a few, but the cheapest CD I found was $41.00 with shipping. That's crazy, might have to start selling some of my cds with prices like that.

I landed the 2005 Eternal Nightmare re-issue (with the bonus disc) last year on Ebay for around $18.00. Sometimes you luck out.

Thats the problem I have with all their stuff. Love the music, but his vocal style just doesn't sit well with me for whatever reason.
