The Olympics

Anyone else watching the  Olympics?

Yes. Love the Olympics, especially Track and Field which is my second favorite sport to Football

Not really… but I caught some of the diving competition while getting a haircut.

Negative. Haven't really given a shit about the Olympics for a while. Used to enjoy watching some of the swimming and tack & field events when I was younger. Now, I feel nothing in regards to the Olympics...

No and I have never watched the Olympics. Never cared about them at all.

Nope.  The only Olympic sport I ever watched was boxing and these days it's too hard to find when that's on.  Other than that I've never been into the Olympics.  I can appreciate the athleticism of the various events (well, most of them anyway) but to just sit there and watch?  Pass.

I heard Skateboarding was added this year. I would watch that if I knew when it’s on.

When pro athletes were allowed to compete, that was the proverbial jump the shark moment for me. During the height of the Cold War, it somehow remained just about the athletes  Politics is THE focus this time, to my understanding, and the athletes there to push an agenda & not compete can, as Ricky from Sunnyvale says it best, " go fuck yourself "

My wife is watching 'em so I catch a few bits and pieces here and there while doing other stuff. I'm not much of a sports guy, never have been.

That's the thing: that's all this shit is. You think Gwen Berry believes any of the stupid shit she said after her "protest"? She did it for the endorsement dollars! This is ALL about riding that horse to as much money as they can possibly get.

The shot putt "person" (don't wanna misgender) twerking was classy. Just think if they would've put that @$$ into it... Good Medal fer sures!

I watched the men's golf tournament. It was fun. A seven way playoff for a bronze medal? Heck yeah!

The women's tournament only started.

Beyond golf, I'm not that interested. Maybe women's field hockey. Especially the Dutch team seems worth watching. Google the team, if you're not certain...

I treat most tv like the grammys, emmys, etc - don't care and don't watch.... Olympics included
