Spreading The Disease vs Among The Living

Simple Question. I prefer Spreading The Disease

Slight edge to Among the Living, but I could go either way depending on the day. Both albums are great.

Metal is my Life Number of posts : 39405 Age : 55

I love both of them but I'm leaning a bit toward Spreading The Disease.

Spreading. The production has more "bite" than Among so it's got a slightly nastier edge to it.

Good poll. I'm a Disease kind of guy, so I went with that. Medusa, Gung-Ho, two great thrash classics and two of my favourite Anthrax songs.

I went with Among The Living because I think the songs are a tad stronger. I do wish it had the raw edge to it that Spreading The Disease has. Both are classics!

I can't believe i still don't own a copy of Spreading The Disease. Been lazy to buy one, since i already own all the songs on other cds/compilations.

There's a special 2CD edition of Spreading the Disease, so maybe waiting it out has not been a bad idea.
