An all time classic album. Saw them this tour. My dad grabbed Wendy's boob. One of my proudest moments!

Cool horror concept album. They should have made it a movie with Wendy.

Highly interesting studio recording. Sexy. Funny. Grotesque. Loud. Crude. Never heard anything quite like that before ! Ron Zombie must of liked it upon first listen. Lol. Great share, Uncle. I'm definitely buying it.

Favourite album by favourite band. So much variation. A masterpiece.

Zombies are spooky. Especially when they are dressed in black suits and ties .

According to Steve Harris, this is somewhat of a concept album. It’s one of my favorites!

I have to go with this one as I played it constantly in 1988 and proceeded (about a decade later) to write a novella inspired by it's concept.

I didn't know it was a concept album. It is an amazing piece of art. Picked it up about two years ago on Amazon.
Need to check out their other material.

I'm not sure what I'd pick as the best concept album, but here are a couple of favourites.

I have to disagree with you on this one. I hate symphonic albums in general, but man, this one was a grower. Of course, I wouldn't want JP to make another album like this one.
I also understand why purists despised it.

Nostradamus was awesome. Again, I’m a fan of him. His Mysterious story. Priest obviously stepped up to the plate, big time. Bet it sold just fine. They must of had great fun doing this one.

I do like Nostradamus album, but it's a really long listen. I have to be in the mood. It's great for a long car ride, or working around the house. It's just not a windows down on a sunny Saturday album the way British Steel or Screaming are. I am glad they did it and have always given them props for tackling something like that 30 plus years into their career.

I totally agree. They had to get it out of their system and the outcome was very positive.
That said, I am glad they are back into delivering some true heavy metal .

A few years ago, I exchanged my copy of this album with Slayer's South of Heaven.
