It's not metal but one of my favorite songs with whistling in it is Billy Joel's "The Stranger". The beginning of the song is just so haunting to me...

At the end there's a loud whistle. Biff did that a few times! Solid Ball of Rock for sure. Singer for Lynyrd Skynard - that piercing whistle. Loud. Motley Crue - Girls Girls Girls has a whistle too.

I was listening to this CD yesterday by High Tension. Heard the whistle at the very beginning of the intro - had to laugh - as the tune blasted.
