Steve Grimmett is back. His band will release a new album titled At the Gates this coming October.
Happy that Steve is back doing what he is excellent at: heavy metal .

I think that song is pretty good but the chorus is kind of weak.

Why do they go by Steve Grimmett's Grim Reaper instead of simply Grim Reaper?

Considering his age and health - what a wild album title. Like this better than Dee Snider's latest ! He's holding true - tough as leather and very bad ass ! Lemmy would smile at this ! Yes ! I'm definitely buying this one. Always loved his voice. Hands down.

I'm about half way through the new album and enjoying it much more than I thought I was going to. It sounds so much better than 2016's Walking in the Shadows. On that one Steve's vocals were way too upfront in the mix. Everything sounds really powerful on the new one, with chunky riffs and serviceable hooks.

When you think of October metal = Grim Reaper should always be on the top 5.
