Today was actually the first time I've listened to the whole album in quite a while -- most of the time I tend to skip right to the four bonus tracks (which are all quite good), haha.

The re-recorded oldies aren't terrible, but I'm so used to hearing the originals that the new versions just don't sound "right" to me, if that makes any sense.

Every time I listen to this and put it on random I find a new track that I somehow missed before.  I guess that's to be expected with over 200 tracks in a comp but still...


Today it was the song "Mazel Tov Cocktail" from the Wildhearts "Chutzpah" album.  How this super-catchy song escaped me before I have no idea.
