| I´ve been listening to a compilation of this band I bought back in 1992 , called "Kiss This" . Althought I am NOT a big fan of Punk Rock anymore , I can listen to Sex Pistols like a RockNRoll band , kindda like a more "insane" and "happier" version of AC / DC . They where really great , and this compilation is probably the best that was released by this band . | |

| Knock the last two tracks off and it's a good comp. I'm not sure how they are a 'happier' AC/DC though! | |

| Never Mind the Bollocks is a great album, but I've always preferred the Ramones over the Pistols. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| I've tried on a couple occasions, and while I understand their place in the annals of punk rock history, I've never been able to get into the Pistols. Same goes for the Clash. _________________ I used to be with it, but then they changed what "it" was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too.

Ditto. I've owned a 2-cd Clash compilation and their London Calling album, which is supposed to be their magnum opus, but aside from a random song or two on each my general reaction was "(shrugs) Meh," so I ended up trading'em away. _________________ "If you're a false, don't entry, because you'll be burned and died!"

| The Dead Kennedys - The Sex Pistols - The Ramones - The Dictators Those were the notorious names - back in the day. Then there was Devo - Blondie - Talking Heads - The Cure
Anyways - I loved "Stepping Stone" and "Pretty Vacant" Watched the movie Sid and Nancy - etc - I will listen to punk rock - just for it's raw garage un-pro sound. And I love when certain bands of metal - are just a few steps away from being punk. Girlschool comes to mind, for sure.

| I love the Sex Pistols, 'Never Mind the Bollocks' is the greatest one and done album in rock history.
It's amazing how influential they were, considering their career was over before you could blink.

| Yep , Nevermind the Bollocks was REALLY one of the most influential albums of all time . I was a huge Ramones fan for a while , but the interest vanished fast . Their music is too tamed and innocent for me this days , same goes to Clash , Pistols sounded the way Punk should be , aggressive and uncompromised , similar in some whay to The New York Dolls . | |
