Just a quick pre-emptive poll

No one needs to respond, unless it is intelligent and concise [and who am I to draw that bar?  Just keep it civil or Freddy will "baneed" you.  inside joke].

If you had to vote TODAY, whom would you vote for?  This ain't scientific, andI ain't starting shit.   Kamala Harris supporters, you can stay anonymous you know [only cited her, cuz If I would have put Trump in that line, I would be called up on charges.]

It doesn't matter anymore, whom/whoever wins is just going to upset a certain percentage of the populace and serve the special interests that financed their run for office. IMHO, the President is just a puppet of the powers that be, put in place for period of time to feed into the us versus them mentality that has jaded the political climate. Which in itself, is merely a diversionary tactic to keep the voters busy at one another's throats...so they remain blinded to what is really going on. Basically, the perfect carrot on a stick scenario. It's sad that so many follow.

I'd be down with a Kamala/Beto ticket.

I just hope the primary season is not as divisive as last time, though there are already pockets on the left that are pretty much opposed for whatever reason to just about any candidate that is running, so I don't have high hopes.

From where I sit, any dem candidate is better than Trump. Yes, there will be ones I prefer over others, but at the end of the day...

Also, should've included Bill Weld. If he does primary Trump, I'll be curious to see that whole thing. Seems like a decent guy, though I would still vote for the dem in the general.

I agree to some extent, but there has to be some candidate that more closely resembles what you might want to see being pushed for.

I sat out elections, including 2000 and 2004, because I didn't feel very represented by Gore or Kerry at the time, but as I got older I realized that yeah, they weren't perfect, but I woulda preferred them over Bush.

I have no idea really as I don't know most of them or their policies but by the way things are being pushed over here I predict a Trump vs Warren slugfest.

Warren and Harris are both getting mention here in Aus as potential opponents for Trump.

I think Warren is toast after all the "Native American" claims.

Harris is a more interesting possibility IMO.  She seems to have that certain "something"; it's not "charisma" exactly but something like that.  The "IT" factor.  And I think she's very well-spoken.  I heard clips of a radio interview with her where the hosts asked her if she smoked pot and she said "Yes.  And I inhaled!".  That came across as very honest to me, unlike that video of Warren trying to show how "yes, I drink beer". 

I don't like much of what Kamala Harris preaches but if I'm being honest so far she seems like a damn likeable Democratic candidate to me.



BTW I'm a libertarian so I'd vote for The Gooch too.
