Dude, thanks for the reminder! I heard this track before the album dropped and loved it, but it was like the album was never released. Hell, I can't find it streaming anywhere. Now it all makes sense.

Hell, I'll buy it this weekend. It's on Amazon (digital) for 10 bucks, so why not. Cool lineup, too; B.J. Zampa (House of Lords dude) did drum duty for David Wayne's solo outing so there's another Metal Church connection--and he's a monster drummer. And it's got a great layer of heaviness. It's a shame they didn't get any promotion.

Hoping Ronnie's doing okay. It's been a rough road since he left MC.

Looks like a one-off at the moment. I am not convinced it's the best match. They're not a Christian band, but 2 of only 3 reviews I could find online are on Christian rock sites.

I'm surprised they didn't get a deal with Rat Pak. I honestly know junk about how that stuff works (lots of variables involved, I suppose), but they seem like the kind of label that would keep things open with Ronny. Unless something went sour there. Otherwise they would've pushed the album in a decent direction.

I went ahead and purchased the digital album. It's very strong, good production, and it's great hearing Ronny again. Honestly, I would have streamed it first, but it ain't streaming anywhere and they need the help, so I thought 'why not pull the trigger.'

Brutal Planet seems like it's trying to broaden it's roster but they need to get a better street team.

They need to get a label that understands you can't just put the CD on your website and expect people to find it.

Really good album. But yeah, no marketing.

I've always liked Ronny. He was awesome with Metal Church when I saw them live. They couldn't have asked for a better singer. I've always said that he wasn't the problem with those MC albums that he was on.

I'm trying to get some reviews. Original release only had THREE reviews. I Googled before I started helping them. They had basically ZERO presence.

The problem is the album came out last September with no promotion at all. It's hard to get in line to get reviews in the first place because every single site already has a backlog to attempt to get through.

I've sent out 3 or 4 other promos for reviews and some for online radio...trying to help them out.

Gave this a spin on my way to work this AM (thanx Shawn). Pretty cool stuff. I was always kinda "meh" on the albums Ronny did with Metal Church but I already like this one better. I'm kinda getting a latter-day Priest/Accept vibe from this (Ronny's vox are very Ripper Owens/Mark Tornillo), maybe with a hit of Vicious Rumors guitar shred.  

...should I assume that the album title "Concrete & Terror" is supposed to be a nod to Savatage? Cuz that's a lyric in "The Dungeons Are Calling" ("down in the dungeons of concrete and terror, candles light the way...")

Will post a review on my HubPage once I've given it a few more listens and given it time to gel (hopefully over this coming weekend) but for right now, me likee.

The Savatage nod is highly likely...but I'm not 100% sure. Glad you like it.
