| FEAR NOT are excited to announce the official release of the brand new EP entitled ‘For The Wounded Heart’. The brand new release features all 4 original members of the legendary Christian rock band FEAR NOT, including original vocalist Larry Worley, on guitar and backing vocals, Chris Howell on lead guitar, Rod Romero pounding on the bass and Gary Hansen wailing on the drums. Added to this new incarnation of FEAR NOT we bring in to the fold a brand new addition with lead vocalist Eddie Green who helps take this new EP to a whole new level with his metal vocal stylings. Eddie is a seasoned, touring vocalist who most recently fronted Even The Dogs, who had a charting single titled ‘Ghost’.
The brand new debut single “Don’t Want None (Come Get Some)” was released on January 11th to great review and is now getting radio airplay across the country. Check out the brand new lyric video and get ready for FEAR NOT to rock your world!

| I don't get it. Not at all. Why in the hell would you have Larry Worley in the band and not have him sing? | |

| Larry has said his voice isn't up to it anymore. I'm not really liking the new sound. | |

| I went ahead and ordered anyway to support them. Hope a full length will follow at some point. The new sound really isn't my thing either. It isn't bad by any means, just not what I expected. | |

| Spinning it now. (takes a deep breath).
First track, Don't Want Some -- still the same opinion, nothing new. Pretty bland.
Second track -- Oh wow. Okay, sound like a natural evolution of the band, pretty rockin'. Smokin' lead by Chris (I believe?).
Third track -- Ballad. Kind of soon and I was honestly was hoping there wouldn't be one, but oh well. Wait--shit. It's a Jeremy Camp-style worship song. Noping out.
Fourth track -- Anyone who's a fan of Brother Cane should check out this track. Although it is heavier. Very 90's. Catchy. Good recovery after the last track. Killer classic rock interlude.
Impressions in general so far: new singer is strong, though rather overwrought and could bring it back a notch in places. NOTHING, and I mean, NOTHING like Larry's style, nor really unique. Gary sounds like his drumming has improved! And Rod is Rod, I always thought he was a serviceable bassist outside of his creative moment in Suicide Sunshine. Melodies are a high point here. Decent mix, love how dry the guitars are in verses.
Fifth track -- BIG sound, I dig this. Feels like 1995 with its lumbering southern kick and string section in the chorus. Could've gotten notice back in the day, I think. Memorable riff. My favorite of the bunch.
It's funny because I have a buddy who swears the old Fear Not CD is purely alternative, WTF right? Well, we just happen to have here a high-quality alternative, or call it modern, rock release. The lyrics are unfortunately way pedestrian with cliches popping up here and there. I always thought Larry was a better lyricist than this. Thought the s/t isn't Neil Young or whatever, it had at least some lyrical hooks ("Hey Mr Compromise.............I'm sick of yo LIES.") that got stuck in one's head. Not the case here ("Look in the mirror, tell me what you see YAWWWWN").
It's a cool bow-out and salute to what I think is THE Diamond-in-the-Rough mid-90's Christian hard rock band, so props. Worth a listen. | |

| When two of five songs are worth anything, i'm disappointed. | |

| It's ok, I enjoy it. As the Corp said, track 5 is excellent. For me, it is 4 out of 5 songs that are good and I would like to hear more from them. It isn't what I expected or the style I wanted but it is a good listen. Thought it was a little pricey for an EP. | |
