I stopped following them when Oderus died. For all I know the "new" band is still good, but it's just not the same to me. But I'm sure they probably will go on forever. Be funny to see if they are still around in a hundred years. I could see it.

If they hire the energizer Bunny, any band can go on forever.

I guess Baby Metal could just replace the young members when they age-out, like Menudo, right? And the backing band is also replaceable too I'd assume. They could in theory go on forever.

Metal Church seems to be making a good attempt.

Even then, they have announced a farewell tour at least once, only to change their mind.

Hopefully one day, I'll get to see Scorpions in a live setting.

I did at my first gig.  They were great but I've got to admit seeing Klaus getting knocked off the human pyramid by a flying plastic bottle full of a suspiciously yellow liquid (It was Donnington so I'll leave you to guess) was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen! As confirmation of Doro's immortality she was also there, looking and sounding not much different to now.

It's weird because 15 year old me thought that they were ancient then because they had been a band longer than I had been alive. It's bizarre that  30+ years later they would still be at it!
