The ultimate german clash

It is going to be extremely hard to pick a favourite...

Accept

Even though I started heavy metal with UDO, Accept, as the next logical step, became my sentimental favorite, so them. But Faceless World wins as the best album.
Objectively speaking, I guess Running Wild should win here based on their exceptional albums streak starting with Port Royal up to ~The Rivalry. And them never having really bad album.

Rage for me. They have released nothing but solid album after solid album, utilizing various styles over their long career.

Have to go Helloween, still putting out strong music. Lots of good stuff here though.

Eh, Accept I guess. Ain't none of them on that list that I would consider a favorite of mine.

Toss up between Accept and Helloween for me...

Scorpions, especially the stuff with Uli Jon Roth.

Rage or Blind Guardian. I will have to think about this. I'm a big fan of both.

I guess i omitted scorpions because i always considered them more hard rock than metal.

I'll go with Accept. But the Scorpions are by far my favorite German band.

Accept is leading by far. Interesting.

Never heard of either of those bands. The ones I listed are bands that I listen to regularly. My "other" German bands were listed in the thrash poll.

Those two are highly recommended. I also recommend you check out scanner and paragon, two top german power metal bands.

Scorpions

Warlock/Doro and Scorpions belong on the list. Not sure if Brainstorm or Primal Fear have done enough to belong.

I also have Angel Dust, Gamma Ray and Mystic Prophecy among my absolute top favourite bands. And Powerwolf is awesome too, but I don't even own all their albums yet.

I like them all except Accept whom I really like so you're gonna have to accept that I picked Accept... what else should I expect?
